WoW: Fixed! Kinda ... Echoes of Ny'alotha and emissary quests

The WoW makers had announced mid-week that a bug was preventing you from getting Echoes of Ny'alotha from Emissary quests. The Echoes of Ny'alotha are part of the system that should make it much easier for you to earn Azerite Essences on Twinks if you have already collected them on your main character. Community Manager Kaivax has posted a new article on the WoW forums. The bottom line: Echoes of Ny'alotha are once again available from the emissary quests. In exchange, the bonus call that you would receive with active contracts when you submit an emissary quest has been turned off. Don't worry, no other quests are affected by this cut in reputation.

In addition, there's the issue of Ny'alotha echoes being hidden "in the emissary and quest displays of the UI," according to Kavaix. Characters who can receive echoes from Ny'alotha will still see the receipt in the chat log when completing emissary quests. Fans joke that the makers of World of Warcraft (buy now €14.99 ) are covering a bug with three different band-aids in this way; shooting at sparrows with cannons, so to speak. Here Kaivax's message in translation.

"Since we implemented the Echoes of Ny'alotha as a possible reward for Emissary quests, there was a bug that needed to be fixed quickly. Today (editor's note: March 19) we applied a hotfix that should fix the problem without having to remove the Echoes of Ny'alotha from the emissary quests. In exchange, we removed the bonus call from contracts that would be available when redeeming emissary quests. No other quest rewards are affected. You will also see a side effect: Echoes of Ny'alotha are hiding in the Emissary and Quest interfaces. However, you should still see the echoes in the chat log when you redeem emissary quests (on characters that qualify for the echoes)." You can find the post on the US WoW forum. Whether this is the long-term solution is still up for debate.
